- Instructions for consumption: Soak peanuts, black beans and mushrooms for about an hour and set aside. Soak the Nostoc in clean water for about 20 minutes, then soak in the oil and then rub it gently to loosen it. Soak the oysters in warm water until soft, then rinse with clean water. Simmer with meat for 1.5 to 2 hours and season with salt.
