- How to cook the soup: Soak the cuttlefish in water for about 6 hours until soft. Tear off the black skin, ink sac and internal organs. Add the cuttlefish bones into the soup. Soak the conch slices, mushrooms and yam for about half an hour until soft. Rinse the other ingredients with water. Add the pork, corn and carrots and simmer for 2 hours. Then add salt to taste.
